Our Banking, Corporate & Commercial Litigation practice group has a wealth of experience in a wide-range of corporate, commercial, banking and finance litigation matters.
In banking and finance matters, we represent both banks and customers in cases involving the recovery and enforcement of loans and other credit and security facilities. We regularly advise banks on their loan, credit and security and trade financing documentation and wherever necessary, we provide our clients with our alternative drafts of the documents to ensure smooth enforcement of the banks' security and to minimise the need to engage in litigation.
In corporate matters, we act for shareholders in shareholders' disputes and minority shareholders of Companies who wish to seek redress in cases of oppression or unfair conduct by the majority shareholders. We act for directors of companies who face claims of alleged fraudulent trading under the Companies Act or in respect of other breaches under the Companies Act.
The commercial cases that we handle involve cross-border transactions and complicated issues which require in-depth research into cases decided in Singapore and other jurisdictions.
