Vignesh graduated from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2002 and obtained his LLM degree from the University of Sydney in 2007.

He was called to the Singapore Bar on 14 July 2004. Prior to joining Straits Law, Vignesh worked in a boutique corporate practice where he assisted in mergers and acquisitions and listed company compliance matters. He was also involved in investment fund-related transactions and general corporate/commercial work. During this time, Vignesh was convinced that a career in transactional legal work was his true calling and joined Straits Law to advance this ambition.

Vignesh has an avid interest in tennis and squash as well as mentally stimulating games such as chess and scrabble. He also enjoys interacting with clients.
