| Most Significant Legal Cases to Date |
| One of my first deals that I worked on after joining Straits Law was a US$162 syndicated loan to finance oil rigs for a major player in the oil and gas industry. We had promised the banks a very quick turnaround time and achieved that target through proper planning and teamwork. While the slogging and long hours for that period were energy sapping, there was immense satisfaction in marrying the legal drafting with the commercial interests and concerns of the various banks and the borrower. It also made me appreciate the guidance of our Senior Director, Mr. Rajaram and the support of the Straits Law banking team. |
