Most Significant Legal Cases to Date
Personal Injury Claim "Despite spending a greater part of my practice in the area of corporate and corporate finance, one of the most significant cases to me was when I was still practicing as a litigator. I assisted in a personal injury claim quite soon after I commenced practice. It involved a young French engineer who was paralysed neck down in an accident while working in Singapore. It was staggering how much turmoil and discomfort this event had caused, not just to him but also to his family members. It was particularly heart wrenching when I visited him in France and saw how his family and him had to cope with a new found disability.
What was significant though was how the law was able to assist an individual cope better with the exigencies of life. Only a miracle could make him walk again but the law was able to at least enable him to continue living with his dignity intact.”
