| Hazel graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2005. |
| Prior to returning back to legal practice, Hazel spent about a year and a half as an academic staff with a local polytechnic where she had great fun interacting with her students and challenging their perspectives. |
| She firmly believes that learning should be a lifelong journey – a precious lesson her students and her stint as an educator have taught her. |
| Her quest to learn and to practise what she has leant thus led her to Straits Law Practice LLC. |
