| Greatly influenced by the television series 'Matlock', Collin studied law as a natural progression of his interest. Practicing law was the next logical step. |
| Collin graduated from the University of Southampton in 1996 before going to the National University of Singapore to obtain his Diploma in Singapore Law. Collin was called in 1998 and started work in a boutique law firm specializing in shipping law. He gained a strong grounding in both shipping and commercial litigation and he has handled a wide variety of litigation, including arbitration and High Court and Court of Appeal cases. Collin joined Straits Law in 2002. |
| Apart from spending as much time possible with his 2 sons, Collin enjoys the occasional tennis games or just lounging on his favourite sofa in his personal sanctuary, the home theatre room, watching DVDs. |
