Insurance Litigation
This practice group specialises in the field of insurance and reinsurance matters. We handle in particular work related to the areas of defence and recovery of claims in motor and personal injury liability, Medical and Health insurance policy, Workmen's Compensation, Industrial Accidents including negotiations with Ministry of Manpower, Public Liability, Contractors' All Risk policies, Occupier's liability, Performance bond and indemnity and Business Interruption policy. Our Associates have also experience in representing and acting in an advisory capacity for a number of insurance companies in Singapore and are familiar with the way Insurance Companies approach matters in the relevant areas. We are also familiar with general commercial and civil litigation arising from disputes with third parties in non-policy matters arising from operations of the insurance business premium recovery actions.
In line with the Company's guiding philosophy of providing responsive service to assist clients with their legal matters and taking a holistic view of matters which considers commercial interests and costs effectiveness, we have put together a team consisting of Senior Directors and a Senior Associate to handle the claims and offer its vast litigation experience which will have a combined force of over 40 years experience to handle the claims and support the department.
