As an extension of our Banking & Finance Practice Group and the Mergers & Acquisition and Business Structures Practice Group, this functional Practice Group assist to provide to our clients with diverse ways of restructuring debts of a company or business and the handling of negotiations with financial institutions on rescheduling payments of debts. Reversing roles we assist the financial institutions in the resolution of debt payments and wherever possible to negotiate fairly and reasonably to facilitate payments. Notwithstanding a settlement, this Practice Group will assist in the disposal of land and assets at the best market price possible and to ensure that the financial constitution's interest is protected.
Although such transactions typically involve various areas of law, the synergies between the various Practice Groups, make such 'boundaries' are merely academic. Often the skills and expertise of one lawyer will blend with that of the other lawyers to provide a seamless and multi faceted service to clients.
